This is a fundraising event to benefit the American Cancer Society. This is the 2nd year in a row that our office will be a participating team. This year, we are inviting our patients to participate with us. You can help our team by making a donation at our office, by signing up to participate at the event as a member of our team, or just by coming to the event and looking for us there. It is a FREE event open to the public and there will be good food, games, and kid’s activities offered by participating teams and to be enjoyed by all. Bring your kids to have fun in our Jumpy or come spin our Wheel of Hope for a chance to win a powered tooth brush or a free home whitening kit. Prizes will also be available for the kids. We will have a special guest, Mr. Funny Bones, at our booth from 7:00pm – 9:00pm on Friday. He makes some wonderful balloon creations that kids and adults alike will love. We will have more information available at our office starting in April so stop by during our regular business hours and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have. Thank you!
Design an Ad 2009 Each year, the Troy Daily News and Piqua Daily Call ask children in area schools to ‘Design an Ad’ for a local company. Our office typically has several entries. This year, we had 6 different ‘Design an Ads’ for our office. We would like to thank the children for their participation: John Squini, Lane Davis, Kendra Magnuson, Logan Hayes, and Matt from Mr. Martin’s Miami East Elementary. Additionally, Isabella Burghardt from Mr. Hall’s Heywood Elementary. We know that the designing took a lot of thought and creativity!
Make a Difference Day 2009 Our office recently participated in the national Make a Difference Day. This is an event held each year, all over the country. The Troy Community Works organizes the event for our area.
The goal: Make a Difference within the community. Troy works to make a difference with various non-profit organizations in need of volunteers for their projects (painting, landscaping, etc.) This year was very successful.
Some of our staff volunteered for this event. We worked at the Troy Library doing landscaping, at the Troy Rec prepping for painting of the entry area, and at the Troy Museum of History doing painting as well as work in the flower beds. Some of the staff also helped with the set-up at the Restore the day before. Please see the video for a closer look at this day:
Food Drive As the holidays approach, will you help us with a Food Drive that will benefit less fortunate residents of Miami County and surrounding areas?
We are taking donations of non-perishable food items, to be given to various Food Pantries of Miami County.
Donations are easy, just bring your food item(s) to the office anytime in the month of October or November. We will then box up all the donated food and distribute to different churches, shelters, etc. Monetary donations are also welcome.
Checks may be made out to: New Path Inc. (non-profit group & contributions are tax deductible)
Thank you for your support! With your help we can make a great impact in our community.
(No glass containers please!)
